Marvel/DC: Spider-Man/Superman #1 – Greg Capullo Variant
A legend of both universes delivers the definitive crossover cover. Marvel/DC: Spider-Man/Superman #1 arrives with a variant cover that is arguably the most historically resonant in the entire lineup — featuring the masterful artwork of Greg Capullo, one of the most celebrated and commercially successful comic artists of the past three decades. Capullo’s unique position in comics history — having produced landmark work at both Marvel (his iconic X-Force and Spawn runs) and DC (his legendary Batman run with Scott Snyder that became one of the best-selling superhero comics of the modern era) — makes him the single most fitting artist imaginable for a variant on a Marvel/DC crossover. This is an artist who has lived in both universes and conquered both, and his variant for Spider-Man/Superman #1 carries the full weight of that extraordinary career.
Whether you’re a Marvel/DC crossover completist, a Greg Capullo collector who considers his covers among the most important in modern comics, or a fan who recognizes that some variants are genuinely historic, the Capullo variant of Spider-Man/Superman #1 is the one that will be remembered.

CVR (Cover)CVR A: The Standard Edition. This is the primary artwork found in most retail shops.
CVR B (and beyond): The Variant Edition. "B" is the first alternative cover, followed by C, D, and so on. These are often produced in smaller quantities than Cover A.
